Sadie
A Work in Progress
Here you will see Sadie as she is created. I am currently in the final stages of tweaking her shading network, hair and rig. you should see some animation tests come out pretty soon.
This is Sadie, She is a character I have been working on in my spare time. I started working on her just after completing the rendering on "The Flight O' The Penguin". So I've been working on here for nearly a year now, whoa. She's going to take the place of Ike as my main featured character. BIO: Sadie is a tough little cookie trying to live life in a harsh city. She has a soft side at times but for the most part she's a pretty hard-core ass kicking kind of girl. She grew up in a big city raised by her father who was a Hollywood stunt man who died when she was 14 in a tragic shopping cart accident (maybe). She is an aspiring dancer and she shows a lot of promise, but her attitude and her inability to show up on time --to anything-- gets in the way. She never knew her mother. She was an only child. She was put into foster care, but promptly ran away and learned to fend for herself with the help of her friends. more to come. |

Step 1: I start with pencil drawings and scan them at a high res.
Step 2: I "ink" the drawing with the pen tool in Photoshop.
Step 3: I rough in the base colors with the brush tool.
